Privacy Policy
Effective November 8, 2026
Who we are
This policy applies to Lessons Plus — the web workspace at lessonsp.com and the mobile apps for Android and iOS (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Alex Hrindii (“we”).
Lessons Plus is a tool for private tutors: students, schedule, lesson marks, payments and balances. We do not show ads, do not sell data and do not use it for anything other than running the Service.
What data we receive
Account data. You sign in only with Google. From Google we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. We never see or store your Google password.
Data you enter in your workspace. Student names, contact details of students and parents, grade, subjects, rates, lesson schedule, marks, payments and packages, groups, homework and notes, workspace settings (default rate and duration, late cancellation rules).
Technical data. IP address, request times, browser or device type and app version — in server logs. We need them for security and troubleshooting.
Plan data. Your plan (Free or Pro) and when Pro expires. If Pro is purchased through the App Store or Google Play, the payment is processed by the store — your card number never reaches us.
Why we use it
- so that you can sign in and work in your workspace in the browser and on your phone, with your data synced across devices;
- to calculate balances, the daily overview and finances — for you only;
- to apply your plan: the student limit on Free and access to Pro;
- to answer support requests;
- to protect the Service from abuse and fix bugs;
- to inform you about important changes to the Service and to this policy.
We do not use your data or your students’ data for advertising, do not build profiles from it and do not train models on it.
Your students’ data
You enter the information about students and parents, and you decide what to store. For this data, you are responsible for its processing, and we process it only on your behalf, so that the Service works.
Students and parents do not get access to your workspace. If a parent link is added in the future, you will be the one controlling it.
Google Calendar and Google Meet
Connecting Google Calendar is optional (“Integrations” in the workspace). When you connect it, you give Lessons Plus the Google Calendar scope calendar.events — managing the events of your calendars. We use it only to:
- create, move and delete the events of your Lessons Plus lessons in your primary calendar;
- add a Google Meet link to a lesson when you choose to;
- invite as guests the students whose email you entered — Google sends them the invitation;
- find the events Lessons Plus created earlier (by a hidden mark), so that connecting again does not create duplicates.
We do not read, store or change your other events. We store only the access token Google issues, the address of the connected Google account and, for each lesson, the ID of its event and the Meet link.
You can disconnect at any time in “Integrations”: we revoke the access at Google and delete the token; the events already in your calendar stay there. You can also remove the access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Who else sees the data
Only you see your workspace. Data is not sold or shared with third parties, except in the cases below:
- Google — for signing in with a Google account (Google’s privacy policy);
- Google Calendar and Google Meet — if you connect them: lesson events and meeting links (see “Google Calendar and Google Meet”);
- hosting and database — the providers whose servers run the Service; they store the data on our behalf and do not use it themselves;
- Apple and Google — if you buy Pro in the App Store or Google Play (Apple, Google);
- when required by law — if this is mandatory under a court decision or a lawful request from a public authority.
Support access. To look into your request or to investigate a breach of the rules, a Service administrator may open your workspace in read-only mode — unable to change anything, for no longer than 60 minutes. Every such access is recorded in a log.
Where and how the data is stored
Data is stored on our providers’ servers, including outside the country where you are. When data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use lawful safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
The connection to the Service is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to the database is restricted. On your device, the app stores only the sign-in token and settings — in the browser’s or the app’s storage. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
- account and workspace data — as long as the account exists; after the account is deleted, it is erased within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days;
- server logs — up to 90 days;
- purchase records — as long as the law requires.
An archived student stays in your workspace with their full history until you delete them.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account with all its data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw your consent. Write to lessonsp.support@gmail.com from the address your account is linked to — we will reply within 30 days.
If you believe we are violating your rights, you can contact the data protection authority of your country (in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights).
Children
A Lessons Plus account is created by the tutor, who must be at least 18 years old. Children do not register in the Service — their data is entered by the tutor, as described in “Your students’ data”. If you learn that an account was created by a child, write to us and we will delete it.
Data breaches
If an incident affects your data, we will notify you and, where the law requires, the supervisory authority: what happened, which data is concerned and what we are doing about it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will let you know about material changes in advance — by email or in the app — and update the date at the top of the page. Previous versions are available on request.
